      We would recommend following the Ferti-lome Tree and Shrub Systemic Insect Drench label which states for SHRUBS: Measure the height of the shrub to the nearest foot. Round any inches down to the nearest foot if less than 6” and up to the nearest foot if greater than 6”. Multiply the number of feet by 3 - this is the number of ounces of this product to apply. It is only applied one time per year.

      ProCare Bifen 7.9 Insecticide can not be used on concrete or onto doors/garage doors because they are impervious surfaces and EPA regulations says Synthetic pyrethroids being one of the most used ingredients, is also product that runs off of impervious surfaces and into groundwater.

    This stuff is AMAZING! I live in humid Atlanta, GA in a neighborhood with lots of trees. During the summer, I spray it around the outside of my house about once a month. So this will only work if you do it pre-seasom such as in the fall for the following spring and summer? I was actually looking up why a large maple tree over my backyard/driveway was dripping sap onto my grass, driveway and vehicles. In my research, I found out that it is not sap from the maple tree, it's actually honeydew from an insect infestation which is how I came to find your video... I was hoping to find something a bit more instant, but for an instant treatment, I'd somehow have to get to the top of the tree and spray... This man does not go more than 6 ft above the ground at any time, so that isn't happening 🤣 I will prepare for an insecticide root drench in the fall. As for this year, I will just deal with washing my car multiple times per week. 😂 Fantastic video and information though, I thank you for it.

      @domyown 3 дні тому

      Systemic drenches can be used to prevent or also curatively but they take time to work. Drenches may take up to 6 weeks to work. Depending on the severity you may also consider doing a foliar application with a horticultural oil such as Bonide All Seasons Horticultural Spray Oil while you wait for the systemic drench to start working. www.domyown.com/bonide-all-seasons-horticultural-spray-oil-p-1525.html

    I have a concrete slab as patio in the backyard but is 20X15 and i will soon get pavers from corner to corner in the backyard so i can treat the areas that i still dont have any concrete or pavers but what about the concrete area? Do i have to drill a trench? should i tell the installers to drill a long trench in the concrete next to perimeter of the house so i can easily put the liquid before they put the pavers on top? What they are doing is they are not removing the concrete slab but putting recycle concrete on the sides that have dirt to level up the existing concrete slab and then on top they will put the pavers. So should i tell them to drill a trench on the perimeter or should i treat now the area that doesn’t have anything yet and then treat the perimeter of the new patio with pavers? Thank you!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

    • @domyown
      @domyown 7 днів тому

      To treat areas with Termidor SC that have a soil to foundation interruption such as a patio, you would drill holes in the patio using a ½ diameter concrete drill bit that is 18-24 inches long. The holes will be drilled every 12 inches and filled at a rate of 4 gallons of finished solution every 10 feet, just like you were doing in the trench. Please review the Termidor Product Label www.domyown.com/msds/Termidor_SC_Label.pdf and our article How To Do A Termite Treatment www.domyown.com/subterranean-termite-treatment-guide-a-478.html for all the proper techniques for a home owner to treat this area. Can you apply it in the heat of summer for crabgrass?

    • @domyown
      @domyown 10 днів тому

      Tenacity is labeled for crabgrass and should kill it when applied according the label. However, do not apply Tenacity when air temperature exceeds 85 degrees. What most of our customers do is apply in a cooler part of the day and wait for it to dry. As long as it's had time to dry, it shouldn't cause turf burn. Keep in mind, Tenacity Herbicide may cause temporary whitening of turfgrass foliage as it's killing your weeds. Please note it is not labeled for many warm-season turf grasses, please read what grass it's labeled for here on Page 8 www.domyown.com/msds/Tenacity_Herbicide_Label_2020.pdf

    • @domyown
      @domyown 10 днів тому

      Yes, you are correct! Just make sure there are 2 gallons of water if you're doing two. Per label, you are to dilute 1-2 envelopes Demon WP Insecticide per gallon water. So, if it takes 2 gallons water to cover 1000sq feet, we recommend to mix 2 envelopes in the two gallons water.

    Hi, I just have one confusion. After applying roach bait, where exactly should I apply the concentrated roach spray and after how long? Same place as roach bait? My confusion is, how does the bait and spray work together, wouldn’t the spray interfere with the bait?

    • @domyown
      @domyown 10 днів тому

      You really should not apply your roach bait gel in the same areas where you are spraying, as the spray can contaminate the bait. You won't have to wait to apply the spray, as long as you don't apply in the same place as the bait. The general rule of thumb is to "spray low and bait high." You will spray along baseboards, in cracks and crevices, underneath appliances, and areas where plumbing meets the wall. Bait should be applied mainly in locations where you typically would not want to spray anyway, such as in cabinets and drawers and underneath countertops. Using both together won't compete, as long as you are applying in different places. Roaches get into everything, multiply rapidly, and can survive for several months without food and up to two weeks without water. We also have a guide we wrote on how to get rid of roaches with some product links here www.domyown.com/how-to-get-rid-of-roaches-a-458.html We recommend the use of an IGR, which is like birth control for roaches so they don't keep breeding. Our roach control kits have that in them and we recommend Roach Control Kit A to get started www.domyown.com/roach-control-kit-rotation-p-14107.html

      @@SSgtBigSwole When used according to the label, Drive XLR8 won't kill your grass. However, to avoid any turf damage, Drive XLR8 should be applied when temperatures are between 65-85 degrees. It would be best to apply in the early morning or in the evening so that the product has sufficient time to dry before temperatures get above this range. Drive XLR8 needs to be mixed with a MSO surfactant mentioned in the video to work the way it should. We purchased a home that had combat bait traps. We were still seeing roaches. I applied Combat bait and we had many dead ones, but still were invested and had roaches crawling the walls. I saw a video on Alpine and ordered the Alpine. It came a few days later. I applied the bait after we had the cleaning service clean the house. We saw some dead ones lying around. Then we saw several live ones one night. About 7 days after application of Alpine. Then I put some peanut butter mixed with boric acid on duct tape. I was expected to see a lot of roaches stuck to the duct tape. To my surprise, I did not see one roach or baby roach stuck to the duct tape. We also did not see any live ones either. My guess is the Alpine worked, but just took some time to get all of them. I am a believer in Alpine because I saw it work myself.

    People saying they like Mice more than rats. Mice are stupid Animals. In research, they cut half their organs out and theyll continue running around in the cage like nothings happened. Rats are emotionally aware and intelligent creatures like cats and dogs. You treat them poorly and they become instantly weary of you.

    I didn’t even know what a Chinch bug was until someone commented on the NextDoor App..😂 I googled them and it says that they are mainly found in the southern states of the US so why are they in Minnesota?!? 😂

      We recommend viewing our guide here on Chinch Bugs to make sure this is the pest you're dealing with! www.domyown.com/chinch-bug-identification-guide-a-589.html and if so, we have resources to get rid of them!

    I think I seen alot of larvae, but never the bug itself. Its not short and fat, it's long and chestnut color. How do I find the source, I just see them on non wool clothes. Can I use cocking for it and what traps specifically can I do use for it?
